July Admissions
Due to the quality of training we offer a small class size and can only accept up to twenty (20) International students every year. There are no limits with our domestic students; once you meet all the necessary minimum requirements.
All our learners are trained from the beginner’s level and complete at the advanced Level within the one (1) year or six (6) months training period.
We have three Mainstream Class Schedules for our Fashion Design Program. A One (1) year Regular Class, a Six (6) months Regular Class and Weekends class (for only one year)
The current admission being run is for our July 2022 Fashion Design Program. And all sessions undergo the internship unless communicated otherwise by the Administrative Office.
SESSIONS
Morning Class: 1 year course(s) + 6 months internship (Monday to Friday – 9am to 3pm). However, students are to close at 5pm at the beginner’s level (1st 3 months).
Evening Class: 1 year course(s) + 3 months internship (Monday to Thursday – 6pm to 9pm)
Weekend Class: 1 year course(s) + 3 months internship (Saturday: 8.30am to 5pm & Sunday 1pm to 5pm)
Deadline: Currently, admission is ongoing is for July Class, and class will begin on the 11th of July 2022.
Afra K Fashion school is located at East Legon Adjiringano Accra Ghana, opposite Otanor Curve.
In the year, you take five mandatory courses for the Fashion Design Program in each schedule;
- Entrepreneurship & Business Management
- Fashion Illustration (Up to Advanced level) & Digital illustration (Beginners level)
- Pattern Drafting
- Garment Construction
- Accessories & Embellishment
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT & PROCESS
Given you can communicate well in the English language; both written and spoken, and are 18years and above you can apply.
Applicants may Pick up a form from the school Administration or Apply Online (at a fee; GHC100 equivalent in USD). Online applicants can pay through our MOMO A/C: 0244479079 (AFRA K FASHION SCHOOL) Or Bank (Kindly Contact the Admissions Office)
After, submit Filled Application Forms with two (2) passport-sized pictures and a copy of your national ID card. Online Registers should scan all necessary documents and attach.
Fees: We understand present conditions hence we have reasonable flexible payment schedules available. Our School fees covers the Tuition Fees, Free training materials, Using of school Sewing Machine, Registration fees, T-shirt (uniform; only Mondays & Saturdays), Departmental Fees, Maintenance Fees (Please Contact Admission office on +233 240 187 828 for clarity of information).
SCHOOL FEES
Domestic Students ONLY – Main Stream:
The fees for Regular School (Monday to Friday) training is GHC5,700 or equivalent in dollars with the prevailing rate for the one (1) year Fashion Design Program.
Regular School: A payment of 50cal% is required before classes begins which is equivalent to GHC2,850 or its equivalent in dollars with the prevailing rate. The outstanding fees is spread within THREE EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS.
WEEKEND SCHOOL
The Fees for the Weekend School training is GHC5,700 for one (1) year.
A payment of 75% is required before classes begins which is equivalent to GHC2,850 or its equivalent in dollars with the prevailing rate. The outstanding fee is spread within THREE EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS.
Any breach in payment comes with a penalty charge of 10% on the outstanding fees.
International Students ONLY – Main Stream:
The fees for Regular (Monday to Friday) School training is $1500 for the one (1) year program.
Regular School: A payment of 50% is required before classes begins which is equivalent to $750 or equivalent in Ghana cedis. The outstanding fees is spread within THREE EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS.
The Fees for the Weekend School training is GHC5,700 or equivalent to prevailing dollar rate for one (1) year.
Weekend School: A payment of 50% is required before classes begins which is equivalent to $750 or equivalent in Ghana cedis. The outstanding fee is spread within THREE EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS.
Any breach in payment comes with a penalty charge of 10% on the outstanding fees.
Private Training
Applies to both Domestic and International Students
Any form of arrangement that doesn’t fall within the general mainstream class sessions is considered a Private Training. All private training is tailored to suit the availability of the applicant along the schedule of the school.
All special training schedules have a class limit of five (5) students within a shorter period of training. This schedule is usually offered per the schedule of the student but at a minimum of four (4) days in a week training for candidates who need special training and a shorter training duration from the main stream training calendar.
All the five courses are treated in the private training and learners graduate within the scheduled graduation period for the Main stream class.
NOTE: Candidates who wish to take the private training but do not necessarily need all the courses treated can seek pricing from the school admission office.

OTHER PROGRAMS OFFERED
Private Class: Ghc 8,700 for Ghanaian students and $1,950 for international Students (plus 3 months compulsory Internship)
Online Training: GHC 7000 for 1 year training (+ 3 months compulsory internship). Covers a personal industrial sewing machine, training materials, and a mifi with 5 gig data).
Students who have their own industrial sewing machine pay Ghc 5700.
Modelling: Saturdays Only – 6 Months : Ghc 2,500
OTHER FEES
Applies to both Domestic and International Students
There is a COMPULSORY SAFETY PROTOCOL CHARGE of GHC100 OR equivalent in dollars with the prevailing rate which is to be paid before commencement of class.
Also there will be a COMPULSORY mid-year class project dabbed “Yaba” which all students are required to pay GHC600 OR equivalent in dollars with the prevailing rate (This fee is subject to amendment). This Class Project applies to all sessions of class regardless of the duration unless communicated otherwise by the administration.
